Marital Satisfaction Test

This test helps you assess your overall level of satisfaction with your marriage and how your marital relationship is going. It reflects the balance between positive and stressful experiences as a couple, as well as feelings of support, closeness and mutual understanding.

It looks at everyday family life from several angles: what the relationship brings you more often, how those around you see your marriage and whether you still feel like a team.

The test is based on the well-known Marital Satisfaction questionnaire by V. Stolin, T. Romanova and G. Butenko, a method for assessing how satisfied a person is with their marriage.

The statements describe your relationship from different sides, some phrased positively and some negatively, and your answers are combined into one overall measure. The app slightly adapts the wording for a mobile format and modern language while preserving the meaning of the items, the structure and the scoring principles.

You read each statement and choose one of three answers, the one that best matches how you feel.

After completing the test you receive an overall level of marital satisfaction, from complete dissatisfaction to complete satisfaction, with a description of how this level usually feels from the inside and what tends to help at that level: from reopening a dialogue about needs to protecting shared time and gratitude.

The result helps you see which areas of the relationship deserve attention first, and can be supplemented with personalized AI analysis in the Who Am I? app.
