About the test

This test helps you assess your tendency toward risk: how comfortable you are with uncertainty, excitement and situations where both gains and losses are possible.

It touches on many sides of everyday life, from driving and travel to money, games and work, and shows how risk-taking shapes your decision-making style, your behaviour under stress and your choices in work and leisure.

Methodology

The test is based on A. Shmelyov’s risk propensity method, a questionnaire for assessing how strongly a person is inclined to take risks.

The statements describe attitudes and habits, some of which point toward seeking risk and others toward avoiding it, and your answers are combined into one overall measure. The app shortens the questionnaire by removing some control items but keeps the important wording, the structure and the scoring principles unchanged.

You read each statement and answer yes or no depending on how true it is for you.

Results

After completing the test you receive an overall level of risk-taking, from low to high, with the moderate range marked, and a description of how this level tends to show up: whether you postpone important steps out of caution, weigh risks well, or enjoy high stakes and quick decisions.

The result helps you see where your risk-taking works for you and where it may need some safety brakes, and can be supplemented with personalized AI analysis in the Who Am I? app.
