Motivation for Success Test

This test helps you assess how strongly you are generally oriented toward achieving success: whether you strive for results, are ready to put in effort, take responsibility, overcome obstacles and follow things through to the end.

It looks at everyday work habits, from how you feel when you have nothing to do for a couple of days to whether criticism motivates you more than praise and whether obstacles make your decisions firmer.

The test is based on T. Ehlers’ method Personality Diagnosis for Motivation for Success, a questionnaire for assessing how strongly a person is motivated to succeed.

The statements describe attitudes toward work and goals, some pointing toward a strong drive for success and some toward the opposite, and the answers are combined into one overall measure. The app adapts the wording to make the test easier to complete and removes the control items that are not included in the scoring.

You read each statement and answer yes or no, based on how you usually behave and what you typically feel.

After completing the test you receive an overall level of motivation for success, from low to high, with a description of how this level tends to show up: how long you keep your focus on a goal, how you handle obstacles and competition, and where your drive turns into pressure.

The result helps you understand what switches you on and how to make your motivation more stable, and can be supplemented with personalized AI analysis in the Who Am I? app.
