Burnout at Work Test
Find out how strongly signs of burnout show up in your current job and how much of your inner resources work is taking.
About the test
This burnout test helps you look at a state associated with prolonged exhaustion and a gradual depletion of psychological resources at work, and see how far it describes your current job.
It covers the common signs of burnout: exhaustion, detachment from work, difficulty concentrating and emotional reactions that are harder to manage than usual.
Methodology
The test is based on the Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT) by Schaufeli, De Witte and Desart, a questionnaire designed to assess the main signs of burnout at work.
The results across the different components of the methodology are combined into a single overall measure of burnout. Some statements have been adapted for clarity in the app, and their order has been rearranged.
You read each statement and indicate how often it applies to you at work, from never to always, based on how you have generally been feeling lately.
Results
After completing the test you receive your overall level of burnout at work, from low to high, with a description of how it may show up in your working life and which sides of your work deserve a closer look.
The result helps you notice in time when work starts taking more than it gives back, and can be supplemented with personalized AI analysis in the Who Am I? app.
