Communication Skills Test
Find out how easily you meet new people, keep a conversation going and feel confident among others.
About the test
This test helps you assess your communicative tendencies: how easily you get acquainted, keep a conversation going and feel confident when interacting with other people.
It covers familiar and unfamiliar company alike, from having many friends and enjoying group activities to speaking in front of a large audience, starting a conversation with a stranger and saying no.
Methodology
The test is based on the COS-2 method (Diagnostics of Communicative and Organizational Tendencies) by V. Syniavskyi and B. Fedoryshyn. It has two separate scales. This test covers the communicative one; the organizational scale is published as a separate test.
The questions alternate between those that point toward sociability and those that point toward avoiding contact, and the answers are combined into one overall measure. The app also adds a few supplementary questions to reflect modern communication situations, such as calls versus face-to-face conversations.
You answer each question yes or no, choosing the option that best reflects your typical behaviour and feelings.
Results
After completing the test you receive an overall level of communication skills, from very low to very high, with a description of how this level tends to show up: in new groups, difficult conversations and situations that call for initiative, and what it can give you at work and in personal life.
The result helps you see whether communication is already a resource for you or an area worth strengthening, and can be supplemented with personalized AI analysis in the Who Am I? app.
