About the test

This test helps you assess your current emotional state. It identifies your levels of anxiety, frustration, aggression and rigidity, four states that often shape how you feel and act day to day.

It looks at how you respond to stress, obstacles and conflict, and how easily you adapt to change, so that you can see which of these states is more pronounced right now.

Methodology

The test is based on H. Eysenck’s well-known Self-Assessment of Mental States scale, which measures levels of anxiety, frustration, aggressiveness and rigidity.

The statements are divided into four equal groups, one for each state, and each group forms its own scale. There is no single overall score, and the conclusion depends on how many scales come out elevated. The app simplifies the items and the response scale for mobile use, and the feedback summarises the most common interpretations of the method.

You rate each statement by choosing how well it describes you, from applies to me to does not apply to me.

Results

After completing the test you receive four scales, anxiety, frustration, aggression and rigidity, each with its level from low to high and a short description of what it means, together with a summary of whether your state is balanced or one or more of the scales is elevated.

The result helps you notice which state deserves attention first, and can be supplemented with personalized AI analysis in the Who Am I? app.
